During the 2017-2018 academic year, the faculty at Webster University began the process of program-level review of the B.A. in Audio Production. The two-year study revealed gaps and overlaps in the curriculum, as well as areas where the curriculum no longer aligned with industry norms or employer expectations. In the year following the review, a large-scale revision was devised based on the data and feedback from the program review. This paper examines the process and results of the review, and future publications will address the methods used for building both a new B.A. and new B.S. in the study of audio at Webster. The 2019-2020 academic year was the first time that the new programs have been taught.
