Oswego Middle School general music classes have teamed up with SUNY Oswego audio production students and faculty via SUNY Oswego's Adopt-a-School program to offer middle school students expanded opportunities for creative musical expression through the use of audio recording technology and MIDI sequencing. Through project-based recording activities, middle school students explore the process of communicating musically through the development of original compositions. Further, middle school students become familiar with the process of song writing and musical creation, increase their college awareness, and begin exploring future career paths.
