In this paper, a real-time realization technique of a two-band linear-phase digital loudspeaker crossover network by using digital IIR filters is proposed. The proposed system will give linear time-invariance by limiting infinite impulse response of all sub-IIR filters to a finite length using truncated method. Moreover, the proposed crossover network is achieved to a desirable properties because the overall magnitude response of a boost or dip characteristics around the frequency cut-off is not appearance which is a significant of high-quality loudspeaker crossover systems. In addition, simulation results shown that the proposed system provide an overall flat magnitude and group delay response and also gives high steep rate in stop band than does the prototype of elliptic IIR filter.
