We show a PC based application where shaped video objects which comprise audiovisual content are placed in a 3D virtual scenery. Interaction allows moving freely through the scene and interacting with the objects. To obtain realistic audio effects the usage of elements from the MPEG-4 scene description tool set is demonstrated. This includes localization of sound sources, the addition of reverberation and obstruction effects.
