Wave Field Synthesis enables a correct spatial sound reproduction with a correct localization over a wide listening area. So far this technique has been mainly used and demonstrated for music reproduction. Because of its properties, WFS is ideal for the creation of audio in combination with 2D video projection. This paper presents recent developments improving the acoustic perspective in visual applications.
